The star of The Mentalist gave us a peek at her personal style during GBK’s Golden Globes gift lounge at the L’Emirtage in Beverly Hills. The actress walked away with goodies from Crizal no-glare lenses (pictured), RevitaLash Advanced, SnapSac, Tweezerman and TC Intimates.
WHAT SHE’S STYLIN’: My shirt is from Arcade, my shoes are Christian Louboutin and my jewelry is by Leslie Green.
STAR GAZING: I love watching the red carpet in general, just to see the celebs’ take and their style. Hair and the makeup is what I really look forward to though. I tend to like the more elegant hairstyles, but also ones that are just very complementary toward the face. I like to know what’s trendy and what’s going on with beauty. With hair, I’m really liking the messy curls swept to the side. I’m into that look a lot right now and I also like really natural makeup.
BEAUTY MUST-HAVES: I have to have my Dior lip balm in my purse when I’m at an event. I love Dior stuff. I also must have blotters. I actually prefer to carry blotters over powder just because it’s less bulk and once you apply powder, I just feel like I don’t want to keep reapplying it. Those are always really easy and convenient to have.

The Mentalist’s Amanda Righetti has modeled and acted since the age of 14, but she says that staying fit is her real life’s work.
“I became very aware of having to eat healthy and exercise and stay in shape at a young age,” she told Star during an interview at Santa Monica’s 220 Fitness gym. “The older I get, the more I’m learning about the myths that are behind working out, diet and exercise. It’s a lifestyle.”
That means hitting the gym for 30 minutes of cardio and an hour with a trainer every day. “If I was not in the gym every day, I would be a house!” Amanda, 28, quips.
“I’m a foodie. I love to eat. I love to cook.” So even though she counts calories — consuming only 1,300 to 1,500 a day — Amanda makes sure to eat small, nutritious meals every three hours.

On Thursday, November 17, W Los Angeles – Westwood hosted Symmetry Live featuring a live set by TORO Y MOI. The event also celebrated the official launch of the hotel’s award-winning ice skating rink, CHILL.

Celebrities and a few VIP guests had the chance to take a spin around the new ice skating rink, including dancing with the stars pro Karina Smirnoff and her Dancing with the Stars partner J.R. Martinez. Karina laced on a pair of skates and proved that her moves are not limited just to the dance floor!
As the evening progressed, guests headed inside for the Symmetry Live performance by Toro Y Moi. Hosting the event was W Hotel’s Global Music Director, Michaelangelo L’Aqua, who introduced the band to the roaring crowd. 90210 star Jessica Stroup and Amanda Righetti from The Mentalist got their groove on and danced to the music along with other VIP guests such as Tyler The Creator, Quddus Philippe, and celebrity photographer Mick Rock.
